Henry Inlander · biography
Henry Inlander was born in Vienna, Austria and settled in England in 1938. He attended the St. Martin's School of Art, Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts and in 1950 went to the Slade. In 1952 he was awarded a Rome Scholarship and had his first one man show at Galleria La Tartaruga in Rome in 1953 (John Bratby was to follow in his footsteps the following year). Many exhibitions followed and his work can be found in several public collections including the Tate Gallery, Contemporary Art Society and the Arts Council.
